Aston Martin

I think coming up with an ad campaign for Aston Martin was quite hard, as we only had an hour to do it. I found it interesting to do it about another country as it makes you think a lot about the difference in cultures. I found that a lot more research was needed to be done as knowledge about your own county is more ingrained into your mind. It was interesting to research the core principles, as it allowed me to totally understand what the brand it trying to do and allowed me to realise if they have done a good job doing it. If there was more time I think that it would have been easier, and I would have been able to come up with a lot more ideas, for the campaign as ideas started to flow by the time the hour was up.

  1. 'I found that a lot more research was needed to be done' is a good insight into what you need to undertake for the Context of Practice brief; create which partly to create an ad for a 'different culture'. So make a start - you can publish your research here on this blog if you like. Or if you prefer start a research folder gathering contextual information on a different location/culture. I think you chose coca cola - have you stayed with this brand?
